Our High-Performance Premium underlay is a non-skid underlay pad for rugs on carpets. It can be used on fitted wall-to-wall carpet surfaces.  If you are fed up with trying various other underlays to stop rugs creeping or moving and they have disappointed you or simply stopped working after a few months then look no further than our special tried and tested premium underlay. RUG on the fitted wall-to-wall carpet:

The black side will grip any textile floor covering (fitted carpet). High-Performance Premium Rug Control adheres firmly to your rug and carpet and so helps to prevent slipping or falling over. Place the underlay black side down facing the carpet; then place the rug on top of the grey side.

1. Cut about 1″-3″ smaller than the rug to be installed
2. Remove the plastic release liner
3. Place the black side down, facing the wall-to-wall carpeting
4. Then place the rug on top of the grey side.

Cutting:
The High-Performance underlay can be easily cut with scissors or a utility knife.

Please note the following underlay sizes will come in 2 pieces as the width of the rolls varies, this does not affect the performance of the underlay in any way, you will simply put the cut pieces together to make it to the required size. We usually stock rolls in 60cm, 120cm, and 180cm & limited stock of 240cm.

• 300x390cm – you may get 2 pieces (180x390cm + 120x390cm)
• For other sizes, you can simply add a variety of suitable sizes and make it to the required size or ask us to cut a particular length and width for you prior to purchase

Floor Preparation:
Prior to installing the underlay, the floor should be vacuumed, clean, and dry. Do not install the underlay on a wet floor. In order to obtain a long-lasting non-skid performance, avoid frequent removal and re-installation of the underlay from its designated installation area.

Underfloor Heating:
This rug underlay is suitable for use in rooms with underfloor heating up to a temperature of 32°C.

Oversized Rugs:
If several pieces of underlay are necessary for one rug, simply apply as many pieces as needed, side-by-side. Taping or splicing is NOT necessary.

High-Performance Premium Rug Underlay
 has been developed and engineered to obtain the best non-skid performance for a rug pad. The product is made of two different polyester fibers needle-punched together and coated, on both sides, with a specially formulated water-based pressure-sensitive dry adhesive which will outperform pads coated with a plain polymeric-acrylic resin.

has almost one pound of fiber per yard, compared to most competing products which commonly have only 3 to 4 ounces of fiber. The light cushioning effect allows the pad and the rug to breathe together with no risk of oxidation or discoloration to any flooring surface.

will not give a permanent bond to the floor. It is a re-positionable underlay: harmless to carpeting, floors, and rugs.
